TSI will be presenting the opportunity for alternative funding and partnership with China. Our Chinese investors are actively seeking technologies in Environmental Technologies. Why? Many of China's rivers are unsafe for human contact, this is due to over 278 cities without waste water treatment. Air quality in over 150 cities are above Level 3 in pollutants. In 2008, $69.28b USD or 156 projects failed due to environmental concerns and high energy consumption. And in 2007, China surpassed the USA as the world's largest emitter of carbon dioxide. China is not standing still amid these issues. It has implemented an Environmental Action Plan. In water projects alone, China has invested $7.46b USD in 2712 projects, of which 881 became operational. China has set these goals that require ingenuity and technology: to reduce energy consumption per GDP unit by 20% by 2010, to increase renewal energy up to 10% by 2010 and to 15% by 2020, to increase forest coverage by 20%, up from 18% and many more.

The Chinese government has committed to invest 1.375 trillion Yuan ($201b USD) for environmental protection.

If you have technology to help meet this country's goal, the investment funds and support you need is in China.
